Hochreiter Lebensmittel Group from Bad Leonfelden presents a very special innovation: together with Nordfels, a mechanical engineering company also based in Bad Leonfelden, a high-tech insertion system for lasagne production was developed in a true Mühlviertel cooperation. This means that Europe’s most modern lasagne plant is located at Condeli in Reichenthal.
Two of the production lines in operation there have now been equipped with the state-of-the-art robotic solution developed jointly by the Hochreiter/Condeli specialists and Nordfels. These systems are unique in their kind and offer numerous highlights: a special buffer function and special, fully automatic safety devices ensure that lasagne production can effectively continue at full capacity at all times. The resulting optimal production process is supported both by simple, tool-free changeover of the robot’s different gripper tools and by ultra-modern quality assurance equipped with an image processing system. Particular emphasis was placed on hygiene when building the lasagne robots, with hygiene already comprehensively taken into account in the basic design of the production plant.
It is now running at full capacity – and has delighted those responsible: “With the new lasagne plant, we are absolutely in tune with the times. It is an important step in further developing our high production standards so that we can operate even more efficiently for our customers,” says Condeli Managing Director Mag. Heinz Kaltenbäck, together with project managers Wolfgang Blöchl and Franz Wolfmayr.
Nordfels is also pleased: “Hochreiter Lebensmittelgruppe has been one of those partners open to particularly progressive, new product ideas for many years. The new lasagne plant at Condeli shows what is possible in this field. We are proud that we were able to realise such an innovation in the region,” say Managing Director Martin Reingruber and Project Manager Patrick Pammer.
