Condeli GmbH from Reichenthal has now been awarded the “Award for Long-Standing Product Quality” by the DLG Test Centre Food (German Agricultural Society) for the third time. It stands for consistent commitment to quality and is only awarded if food products have been regularly and successfully tested by the DLG for at least five years.
For many years, companies in the food industry have voluntarily had their products tested by DLG experts. To promote this commitment to quality, the DLG presents the “Award for Long-Standing Product Quality”. “For consumers, quality must be filled with convincing substance; it must be transparent and a consistent characteristic of a food product. The ‘Award for Long-Standing Product Quality’ reflects precisely this standard, as it enables award winners to document that they have had their food products tested by the neutral experts of the DLG, in some cases for decades – a clear promise that expresses their commitment to consistent quality assurance,” emphasises DLG President Hubertus Paetow.
Companies must participate in the International Quality Tests of the DLG Test Centre Food for five consecutive years and achieve at least three awards per award year. From the fifth successful year of participation, the company is awarded the “Award for Long-Standing Product Quality”. If a manufacturer does not participate in a given year or does not achieve the required number of awards, it loses its entitlement to the award.
